Earth is being attacked by global warming. Global warming is caused by increase in greenhouse gasses such as carbon dioxide. Greenhouse gasses hold heat from the sun in earth's atmosphere, causing earth to heat up. The heating up may eventually melt earth's polar ice cap (see below).

The ice cap has lost over 20% of it's ice due to global warming. And where's all that water going to? See below:
ice + global warming = more water in ocean = possible future floods on major bays, coasts, and docks!
That means many polar bears are loosing their habitat!

The carbon dioxide in the air is mostly made by factories polluting with harmful gasses (plastic bag factories ect.) and car exhaust. You can make a difference by riding your bike instead of going in your car or using reusable bags for grocery shopping shopping instead of plastic ones.
